Paul D’Arcy
Paul D’Arcy is Associate Professor of Pacific History, Department of Pacific Affairs, College of Asia and the Pacific, The Australian National University. His research and teaching focuses on past, present and future environmental issues in the Pacific and Asia, especially relating to oceans. He is currently completing an environmental history of the Pacific Ocean, followed by two co-authored histories: China and the Sea with Lewis Mayo, and the traditional histories of the Sor Clan of the Mortlock Islands in Micronesia with Zag Puas. He is General Editor of The Cambridge History of the Pacific Ocean (two volumes), to be published in 2020.
